She has a Masters in Theatre Studies and a BA (hons) in Drama, Film + TV with English Literature. She has a teaching qualification as well DBS checked.

Her work as an actor, director and writer has naturally led into leading workshops, teaching and training. She has recently helped set up and lead the first BTEC level 3 acting course to be housed in a producing theatre, Salisbury Playhouse, where the students learn alongside professional actors, directors, writers and creatives. She has also helped create a unique communications course with RADA for young people and offers a wide range of bespoke workshops for individuals, educational establishments and businesses as well as teaching LAMDA certificates.

Marnie believes that the power of drama is for everyone, building confidence, creating stories and learning about ourselves and others, whether we are on the stage, watching, creating the work, behind the scenes or applying the skills needed for drama and theatre in our everyday lives.
